Early Life & Lineage
William Worth was privately baptised on 4th July 1806 and officially received into the church on 13th July 1806 at Walkhampton (🔒Walkhampton Parish Baptism Register, Plymouth & West Devon Record Office). He was the son of John Worth (b. 1785) and his wife Margaret Worth (née Williams).
Marriage & Family
On 25th December 1826, William married Elizabeth Pengelly (1802–1880) at Walkhampton Church (🔒Walkhampton Parish Marriage Register, Plymouth & West Devon Record Office).
Together, they had thirteen children:

Residence & School Records
On 19th May 1856, William applied for a school place for his nine-year-old daughter, Jane, as recorded in the Walkhampton School Register, leading to her formal admission on 28th October 1856. The entry notes William’s occupation as a farmer, records the family’s residence at Jobbers, Sheepstor, and states that they had eleven children at that time (Walkhampton School Register 1841-1864, Devon Heritage Centre).
Death & Burial
William appears in the national burial index as being buried in 1859 within the Tavistock district. As this index rolls up local administrative area records, it is likely he was buried locally at Walkhampton (🔒England & Wales Deaths 1837-2007).
